An Old-Fashioned Christmas For Today

You can enjoy the simplicity and beauty of an old-fashioned Christmas. It can make Christmas less stressful and more enjoyable.

Do you want to have a Christmas full of joy, instead of a Christmas full of stress? Most people feel exactly the same way that you do, but instead they go through the Christmas season feeling stressed and tired.

You can have a joyful Christmas season. There are many different ways to make your Christmas season more fun and less stressful. The best thing that you can do is to try to simplify your Christmas. If you think about your favorite Christmases from your childhood, you probably remember more times of simple fun, rather than chaotic stress. You only have to plan and prepare to make this a Christmas that you can enjoy now.

Enjoying the simplicity and beauty of an old-fashioned Christmas can decrease your stress level and be very easy. You don't have to go back to no electricity to make your Christmas more old-fashioned and simple. You only have to choose some parts of that time that will make your Christmas more enjoyable. You can help fill your home with Christmas spirit simply by using your three senses.

* Pleasing to the Eye - What do you think of when you think of when you consider an old-fashioned Christmas? If you are like most people, candy canes, popcorn strands, and homemade Ginger cookies on the Christmas tree come to mind. Making a popcorn strand is very simple and it can be a fun, quality family project that your kids will love and enjoy making. Using cookies as a decoration may not be very functional, but you could just use the cookie cutters on your tree or use them as a napkin ring.

* Pleasing to the Ear - "Sleigh bells ring. Are you listening?" Adding sleigh bells to your home can help create a pleasant Christmas sound to the ears. If you don't have a reindeer out in the yard then hang them on your doorknob. This is a great way to welcome your holiday guests.

Hearing the squeals of laughter occurs quite frequently during the Christmas season. From opening presents to decorating your home, the holidays are a source of great fun and laughter for every member of the family. You may want to consider using toys for decorating your home.

* Pleasing to the Nose - Some of the favorite scents of the holidays include spices, baked goods, evergreen, and bayberry. You can find Christmas decorations that fit both your eyes and nose. For example, fir branches with a red bow would look beautiful above a doorway. Scented candles will look great in your windows. Cooking cookies also helps to add a delicious smell to your entire home.

Having an old-fashioned Christmas does not mean that you have to sacrifice your worldly goods. It simply means that you want to have a more simple, enjoyable Christmas, without many of the stresses. Isn't that what you desire?

Speakers For Our Car Audio System. Is Bigger Better?

You are now considering purchasing new speakers for your car and there are a number of things that should be thought about in order that you make the best choice possible. It is crucial that when looking to purchase speakers for your car you go with a clear idea and plan of what it is you intend to buy. It does not naturally follow that the bigger the speakers the better they are.

In fact you may find that when purchasing your speakers they may cost more than you intended and it is wise not to purchase ones which have numerous features which you wont actually use. It is sensible to remember that the highest quality audio speakers available for your car will cost more than a lot of others, but in general these are worth the extra cost. However, if you do decide that big speakers are what you want then make sure the ones you purchase have a brand name that can be depended upon and ensure that they will provide you with crystal clear sound at all times.

Today there are 2 kinds of basic car stereo speakers available on the market and these are component or full range speakers. Both have their own pros and cons. However, if you are looking to replace the factory installed speakers already in your car with the minimum of fuss then you should no look no further than full range speakers (consisting of a tweeter and woofer, you may even find some come equipped with a midrange or super tweeter as well). These styles of speakers also come in a varying range of sizes and prices.

But then again as previously discussed if you are looking for bigger car speakers to install then you should be considering a component speaker set. Not only do component speakers give you the best possible sound quality for your money because of their superior design and each component has been specifically designed to complement each other. Certainly big speakers can be a part of any component system as long as you make sure that you have all the necessary components for their installation.

A component system is especially good for those people looking for a serious stereo speaker system for their car. This sound system will not only provide you with greater depth of sound but also a much realistic one as well. The exceptional dynamics and detailed sound provided by such a system is because of the higher standard of materials that have been used which will not normally be found in a full range speaker system.

However, when it comes to which are better, small or big car speakers, this cannot be easily answered. Even if you prefer to install big speakers in your car they will not always provide you with the best sound and you will soon see just how many different shapes and sizes of speakers there are now available. But rather than deciding on big or small speakers for your car it is much wiser to invest in a good quality car audio system instead.

Best Western Hotels Represent The Rich History Of The World

With more than 4,200 hotels in 80 countries, out of these, 2,000 hotels are concentrated in North America alone, Best Western is the world's largest hotel company, operating under a single brand name. Throughout its history, the company has established a reputation of a leading brand name in the travel industry, providing high quality service and accommodations to leisure and business travelers. The origins of Best Western hotels can be traced back to 1946, when the first chain of Best Western Motels was started by hotelier M.K. Guertin. At the time, the majority of hotels were either small family owned inns or large urban properties. Best Western hotels were started as a network of independent hotel operators in California, which succeeded in growing to the most significant hotel chain.

As of 1963, it was the largest hotel chain in the industry, due to 699 member properties. The year 1966 witnessed a number of major changes when the organization's headquarters moved from Long Beach, California to Phoenix, Arizona, with the aim of further expanding the chain. The expansion entailed establishment of the new reservation center, offering free service for travel agents, vacationers, and business travelers. Other major changes included expanding to the Caribbean, the Pacific, and into Europe, and increasing membership standards.

Sales offices were opened in Seattle, Phoenix, Montreal, and Washington D.C. In 1974, the word "motel" was eliminated from the company's name, marking the new stage of its development. Foreign expansion has resulted in agreements with 410 properties of Australia and New Zealand.

In 1977, the Best Western Headquarters complex was constructed in northeast Phoenix, which contributed significantly to the company's status of the world's largest lodging chain. In the early 1980s, agreements were signed, bringing numerous properties of France, Denmark, Finland, Spain, Switzerland, and Sweden into the chain. By this time, 900 international affiliates of the company comprised 34% of its total membership.

In September 1988, the chain launched the Gold Crown Club International Program for frequent travelers, which reported nearly 200,000 members within a year. In 1998, Best Western chain adopted a new logo and identity.

As Best Western doesn't have franchises, the chain is operated as a non-profit association, with each hotel owned and operated independently.

Best Western hotels can be found in nearly every country of the world, including the original hotel in Phoenix. The company charges a rate which is based on initial cost, in addition to a fee for each room. Each hotel has a list of standards, compiled and published by Best Western International. Despite the fact that all hotels act as members of Western Hotels association, they are allowed to use an independent name, seen as part of their identity.

As of 2004, all Best Western hotels in the Caribbean, Canada, and the United States offered high-speed Internet access to their visitors. The same year, Best Western became the first Official Hotel of NASCAR, entering in a three year partnership.

Currently, the consolidated reservation centers are operated in Phoenix, Arizona; Manila, Philippines; and Milan, Italy. Best Western's offices can be found in Chicago, Atlanta, Buenos Aires, Dallas, London, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, New Delhi, Mexico City, New York City, Rio de Janeiro, Seattle, Toronto, Tokyo, Seoul, and Washington D.C. More than 90% of all member hotels in Canada and the United States are rated by AAA, with nearly 1,000 of them receiving a three diamond rating.

Hillary, Republicans and Oprah Oh My!

It may look bleak for Republicans in the 2006 election, but the prospect of a Hillary Clinton presidency in 2008 will once again motivate Republican voters to get out the vote. Many will call it the most important election of our time and with good reason. It will be the first time in American history that a woman has a legitimate chance to become President of the United States. People on both sides of the political divide will be turning out in record numbers.

Although Hillary has been portraying herself as a moderate for the benefit of the upcoming election. She is still the poster child of liberalism in the minds of a majority of conservatives. Many who were of voting age in the 1990's will remember Mrs. Clinton's proposed plan to socialize medicine during her husbands presidency. Just the idea of it raised the dander of Republicans and Libertarians alike causing them both to fight it tooth and nail until it was defeated. Mrs. Clinton will steer far away from anything that can be painted as "socialized" this time around, so look for a massive spin campaign before the launch of any of her proposed national policies.

Hillary Clinton has also become the face of partial birth abortion. She voted no on the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act of 2003. That bill sought to ban partial birth abortion except in situations that endangered the life of the mother. In a 2000 Senatorial debate in Manhattan Mrs. Clinton said "I have said many times that I can support a ban on late-term abortions, including partial-birth abortions, so long as the health and life of the mother is protected." . But She failed to prove that statement when she voted no on the bill that would make that a reality. In addition, Mrs. Clinton has a 100% rating by NARAL which indicates a viscous pro- abortion voting record.

There is also no doubt that Mrs. Clinton's statement about stay at home mothers will be brought to the publics attention once again. In July of 1992 she said I could have stayed home & baked cookies & had teas, but what I decided to do is fulfill my profession.. This statement will be used to show that she is a career woman who has little regard for stay at home moms and the more traditional role of women. This will play big in the red states. I predict that to soften her image, she will do a touchy feely interview on the Oprah Winfrey show. She might even put on some make up.

Then there is the obvious issue of who her husband is, former President Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton will become a big part of the 2008 presidential campaign. He is loved by Democrats but scorned by the Republicans who will bring all his past sins to light once again. This will turn into a long drawn out and nasty battle. Everything the former President has done will once again be on display for the American people to judge. Just the prospect of Bill Clinton being the First Husband will bring droves of conservatives out to the polls.

Although the thought of a Clinton presidency will be the driving force of conservatives for the 2008 election, there is still one variable that should be figured into the equation. The climate during that election cycle will be so nasty that any body that is not sold out to one of the two major parties will be so fed up with smear politics that any viable third party candidate will be seen as a breath of fresh air and will surely rob votes from both parties.

This may end up being a defining moment for third parties such as The Constitution Party and Libertarian Party. Wether or not they will be able to field a viable candidate remains to be seen. Where's Ross Perot when you need him?

Raymond Kish is a husband, father, former Marine and proud American who is tired of seeing American citizens being sold out to the lowest bidder. http://www.believeinamerica.com.Orsa Blog89022

Travel Option to Limpopo in South Africa - Modjadji, the fabled Rain Queen

Named after the great Limpopo River that flows along its northern border, this province is rich in wildlife, spectacular scenery and a wealth of historical and cultural treasures.

Known as the Great North, Limpopo province is home to ancient lands and pre-historic secrets. This is home to Modjadji, the fabled Rain Queen; The Stone Age and Iron age relics of Makapansgat Valley and the treasures of Mapungubwe that date back to time immemorial.

Straddling the northern Kruger Park, Limpopo province boasts wildlife safaris, nature trails untamed Africa at its finest. This is the land of wide-open bushveld, big-sky country, the ever-present thorn tree and the mystical baobab tree.

The Limpopo province also offers up Africas wild Edens from Highveld grassland savannahs to subtropical forests to formidable mountain ranges.

South Africas northernmost province, Limpopo, borders onto Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Botswana thus making it the ideal entrance to Africa. The Limpopo province celebrates a rich cultural heritage and at many archaeological sites the mysteries of the past and ancient peoples are still being unearthed. Historians reveal that the first black Africans moved across the Limpopo (into what became known as South Africa) before 300 AD. The Voortrekkers arrived in the early nineteenth century and this part of the world changed forever. Numerous battles between indigenous African people and the Voortrekkers ensued. During apartheid, portions of land were divided into homeland areas. However, today the Limpopo province is united in its aim to offer the best possible welcome for its visitors.

The Limpopo climate is renowned for its hot yet pleasant summers and dry winters. Its weather is characterized by almost year-round sunshine. It can get very hot in summer (October -March), with temperatures rising to 27 :C (80,6 :F) and, sometimes, even touching the mid-30 s Celsius (mid-90 s Fahrenheit).

Biodiversity

South of Limpopo are the Soutpansberg mountains, South Africas northernmost mountain range and one of the most diverse habitats in the country. There are 340 indigenous tree species here, an abundance of animal life and the worlds highest concentration of leopard. Ancient, gigantic baobabs (upside-down trees) guard vast expanses of mountains, bushveld, indigenous forests and cycads.

Can I Lose My Frequent Flyer Miles?

Earning frequent flyer miles takes work and time, and you have been willing to put in that effort and the time necessary to store up a wealth of miles. Although, there are times when miles expire and are no longer available to you, leaving you with no rewards at all. These programs are offered by multiple airlines, and are propelled by trying to gain customer loyalty. In reality, would you really choose to buy an airline ticket from one company at the same price as your company and not get the air miles for it? Or, does it not matter if you might lose those miles? It is important to investigate this before choosing a frequent flyer program to join.

Expiration

It is a fact. It is true. It is inevitable. Some airlines do have policies that call for expiration of miles after a certain period of time. Of course, this is an important factor to airlines because they want to provide some incredible incentives and rewards that people will want to use their air miles before they expire. Although it can save people a lot of money, many people dont take advantage of their air miles, which also has a huge role in the reason they have expiration dates. It is very easy to find out if your frequent flyer miles have an expiration date. All it takes is some reading of the fine print in your program information, and it should be extremely clearly expressed.

Business Going Bust

These days there are many different airlines that are going out of business and claiming bankruptcy. After the September 11th attacks on the United States this became the reality for many airline companies. At this point, many people that are involved in these frequent flyer programs would be concerned that they may lose all of their earned miles, but this is the case no matter what. There are clauses in all frequent flyer programs that allow airlines to discontinue the honoring of air miles at any time they choose, although many do not unless facing bankruptcy. There is a good side to all of this havoc; if a company is going bankrupt it usually means that the company is going to be purchased by an existing airline. Typically, the purchasing airline will work out an agreement to honor your air miles, some if not all. Although, if a company does need to liquidate that will ensure a loss of frequent flyer miles across the company.

Frequent flyer miles are offered to keep a customer loyal to an airline. Airline companies rarely refuse to honor earned air miles, and as long as you are staying loyal these companies should not be facing bankruptcy. But remember, most people do not take advantage of their miles, thus there is a very low liability in relation to these programs.

A Guide of Berber Carpet

One of the more popular carpets on the market is the Berber carpet. Here is a guide to maintaining Berber carpet without destroying it.

A Guide of Berber Carpet

One of the most popular types of carpet available for home installation today is Berber carpet. Different from the synthetic high-traffic carpets of the 1960's and 1970's, or the high pile (fluffy) carpet of more recent years, Berber carpet offers stylish looks as well as durability. Berber carpet is not a specific type of carpet (such as wool or nylon), rather it is a weave of carpet consisting of dense small loops that can be in a patterned formation or a solid color. One of the biggest reasons that many people choose a type of carpet is ease of care.

Berber carpet prior to 1985 was typically made of nylon (a synthetic fiber) or a nylon/wool blend. These carpets were usually manufactured in light, neutral colors (such as beige or off-white) and were not very popular due to their light color. In 1986, Stainmaster (made by DuPont) was developed, and this coating went a long way to increasing the popularity of the carpet as it made maintaining it much easier. Also at this time, olefin, a type of synthetic extremely stain resistant fiber became readily available to carpet manufacturers. Berber carpets made from olefin were nearly stain proof, because except for oil based stains nothing could penetrate the fibers.

To make sure the Berber carpet in your home doesn't need frequent care, pick a Berber that's made of olefin and one that has a high density. While this carpet will resist dirt and stains better than others, once you do have to treat it, you'll need to follow a few simple rules. Since Berber carpet is so dense and closely woven, any stains that do penetrate it will be harder to remove. Also, the close weave will mean that once cleaned with a steam cleaner and solution, Berber carpet will take longer to dry than ordinary types of carpet.

Do not over saturate the carpet and be sure to pick a dry day to attempt to clean the carpet. Humid days mean that carpets will take much longer to dry. Depending on the time of year, you can also turn up your heat or air conditioning to allow the carpet to dry faster. You may feel tempted to make more than one cleaning pass on your carpet, but with Berber, it's important not to keep adding more solution into the carpet, because it will be harder to remove (vacuum out) and dry.

All and all, Berber carpet is one of the more durable versions on the market. You should not have too many problems maintaining it for years.

The Real Way to Launch a New Site and Dominate the Market

There are a lot of misconceptions going on about how to start making money with a new or even an old site. Ill pretend like were talking about a new site but the idea would be the same if it was an old site. Lets pretend that we have a quality design, a good product and everything online is 100% ready to go. Now we need the traffic.

Lets pretend that we are selling car parts and I have all my car parts in stock and ready to go. I have a 68 ford mustang left hand door skin, if I rank this part for the keyword car, then Ill get people looking for new cars, car pictures, car dealers, used cars and the list goes on and on. That would be a waste of bandwidth, time and energy for me; I will not sell this part to someone looking for a new car or someone that does not even own a Mustang.

A little common sense tells me that I need to sell this to someone who is looking for a 68 Ford Mustang left hand door skin. I notice that I have a red one, blue one and a black one. Im going to take my blue one and create a page named blue-mustang-door-skin.

On this page Im going to write up some text about my 68 Ford Mustang Blue Door Skin. Ill use the words 68 Blue Ford Mustang Door Skin at the start of my article, in the text, at the end of my article, in bold, in header tags, in plural and singular words and Ill use those words together and separate from each other and in links coming and going from this page and most importantly, Ill use them in my page title.

Ill also have pictures of my Blue 68 Ford Mustang Door Skins that are optimized and set up for the search engines. They will rank if someone does a search in images for a 68 Blue Mustang Door Skin and they will rank if someone does a search in the organic engine for 68 Blue Mustang Door Skin because this is a non-competitive search term. Ill have a call to action that will take my visitor to my shopping cart when he is ready to make the purchase.

On this page Ill have links on the left hand side that will link to a page called Door Skins, 68 Red Mustang Door Skins, 68 Black Mustang Door Skins and the list will go on and on pointing people to different model and ages of cars that I have door skins for.

Ill do this for every part and product that Im selling. Once I finish, I will send out press releases about my new site, about my products and then Ill write articles about my products and link those back to my products with the proper anchor text. Ill submit these to article websites; Ill then find car forums and start posting in those and use my signatures to link back to my product pages. Ill create a blog and forum on my site to talk about my business and products and link to my products from that blog every chance I get. Ill write post in my blog that we get others to link back to my blog.

Ill create small sites like a 68 Ford Mustang website where Ill give information and have a little forum for people that are interested in 68 Ford Mustangs to post. Ill use this website to link to my products and help promote my main site. Once its going good Ill create a new forum for 69 Ford Mustang lovers.

I could go on and on, Ive not even started writing yet, there are so many ways to make money online.

It will take me some time and a lot of work but I will dominate the market that Im in.

Success and Safety In Online Dating

With todays world moving on the fast lane, people do not just have the time to meet people and engage in chitchats with potential partners. Instead of going to bars and other activity places where they can meet single people, most would rather curl up on their couch and just rest after a hard days work. This is especially true with professionals who are busy with their work or those who work all day and are just too tired to go out in the evenings.

This is perhaps why online dating services and matching sites have become so popular over the years. Now, people no longer search for potential mates in bars but at the comfort of their own homes through the Internet.

There are actually hundreds of online dating sites that offer their services. Some for free while others charge minimal fees for subscriptions and additional services. Despite the name, one does not actually date someone over the Internet or virtually. These websites are just ways for people to meet and hook up.

Dating and getting to know each other will still be done in the flesh. One drawback in using the Internet to meet people is the fact that you can never be really sure about your date. Remember that these sites are also filled with people who are out to con people. This is why when meeting a potential date for the first time, it is good to follow these tips so as to have a safe and enjoyable date.

1. Take it slowly

Chat first for a few months before agreeing on meeting for a date. Use the time to get to know the person. Do not plunge in. Keep your mind open to possibilities but keep your eyes open for inconsistencies in the information that they give. Posers will definitely give you the slip.

You should also observe their behavior through the stories that they tell you while chatting. If you feel that someone is just too good to be true; then follow your gut feel. If he or she makes you feel uncomfortable or you feel that there is something wrong that you just cant pinpoint; follow your instincts.

It is good to err on the side of caution especially when your life and reputation is at stake. There are hundreds of people out there. It will be easy to find someone that is just for you.

2. Be cautious about the information that you give

Never give out information that are just too personal. Examples of these information are your credit card numbers, your address, your telephone number, your workplace. If you have to tell them what your work is, tell them your position and the field where your company is in but do not tell them the name of the company.

Rule of thumb is to never tell them something that will allow them to trace you. It is still important that you still keep your anonymity intact. Some online dating sites will assign you a personalized email address that is used only at the site. This way, you dont have to use your personal email address.

Also when chatting, try to log in on the site and chat there. Never give your email or ym address unless you are really sure that they are complete trustworthy. If someone pressures you to reveal these information, stop communicating with that person.

3. Chat on the phone first

After chatting online, you can actually take the next step and chat on the phone. This way conversations are more spontaneous and more likely to reveal true identities. Because you are actually conversing directly, slip ups are likely to happen.

Another good thing about talking on the phone before you actually meet is the fact that you can also determine the personality of the person through the voice and the way he or she handles the conversation.

Nurse Salaries For Different Nursing Fields

Many new graduate nurses are readily offered jobs prior to graduation. The positions that they are offered are usually those with the title graduate nurse or GN. For the most part, new graduates are looking for employment near their home. Since the general nursing student is now in their early to late thirties, they have already established a secure family base. While jobs for graduate nurses are plentiful it helps to have some idea of how many jobs are actually offered throughout the United States. The wonderful fact of being a nurse is that they can work just about anywhere.

The following information should be helpful in getting some idea of the pay for different nursing fields. Hospital Nurse Recruiters will inform the new graduate nurse that obtaining a bachelor degree in nursing is favored. Many hospitals will offer some form of tuition reimbursement for those nurses who seek to obtain a BSN degree. Tuition reimbursement can go as high as one hundred percent to fifty percent. For nurses who work in hospitals, there is a world of opportunity to move into many different nursing specialties. As the nurse gains more experience in their field, their salary will also increase. The salaries listed below are not all inclusive, but merely present to the reader a general idea of the salary range that exists. The reader should keep in mind that each hospital will be unique in what type of salary is offered depending on the nurses qualifications and prior work experience.

Just as you might think, large cities like New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago hold the top spots for the number of nursing jobs available. The larger cities also have higher salaries and better benefits for their nurses. The tradeoff is longer hours and more stress in large city nursing jobs versus the small community jobs where hours are usually better and the number of patients to serve is lower.

Just visit our free car listingswe have hundreds of great and wise buys in used cars. Should you need finance to buy your ideal car, you can go to the Classifieds of www.ozfreeonline.com and look up the Finance section.

To keep your car looking good and performing well, OzFreeOnline offers you suggestions on checking the Coolant (Antifreeze) level as well as the engine oil level.

COOLANT (ANTIFREEZE) LEVEL

Never open the radiator of a car that has just been running. The cooling system of a car is under high pressure with fluid that is usually hotter than boiling water. Look for the cooling system reserve tank, somewhere near the radiator. It is usually translucent white so you can see the fluid level without opening it. (Do not confuse it with the windshield washer tank). The reserve tank will have two marks on the side of it. FULL HOT and FULL COLD. If the level frequently goes below full cold after adding fluid, you probably have a leak, which should be checked as soon as possible. Today's engines are much more susceptible to damage from overheating, so do not neglect this important system.

ENGINE OIL LEVEL

An engine cannot run without oil; oil is what prevents serious engine damage or total destruction! To check the oil level, make sure that the engine is turned off, then find the engine oil dipstick and remove it. With a paper towel or rag, wipe off the end of the stick and notice the markings on it. You will usually see a mark for Full and another mark for Add.

Check your owners manual to be sure. Push the stick back into the tube until it sets, then immediately pull it out to see the oil level. You should not add oil unless the level is below the Add mark and NEVER add oil to bring the level above the Full mark. Your main concern with this check is that oil consumption is not rapidly increasing. If it is, take your car to a repair shop as soon as possible and have it checked out. It is acceptable for the oil to be dark as long as you change it at the recommended intervals. However, it should never be foamy and should never have a strong petrol smell. If either of these conditions exists, have it checked out soon.

We will bring you more tips next week. In the meantime remember the best source to buy a used car today is from the OzFreeOnline.com Cars Section. To sell your car, you can use our free car listings We promise: it costs you nothing.

Luxury Cars: Toys for the Big Boys

Luxury cars are the playthings of the rich and famous. It comes as a status symbol to drive and ride in a classy and expensive vehicle. There is a market for this affluence; otherwise no cars of this calibre are manufactured to serve the discriminating preferences of this niche. Surprising enough, demand escalates for the more expensive types and the limited production of these fine cars makes them even pricier.

Most luxury cars are hand crafted and designed with fine and comfortable trimmings. Rolls-Royce or Mercedes-Benz, even Daimler and BMW have set up a luxury car segment where manufactured coupes are fine-tuned to fit owner preferences at a price that exceeds the range of normal sedans, sports coupes and SUVs.

It is extreme pricing more than technological features that set luxury cars from the regular 4-wheeled machines. These cars usually sell at a six-digit figure floor price. In a 2006 survey of luxury cars in the market, the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 a European built and designed car is deemed the most expensive coupe, being retailed at $ 1,192,057 million dollars. The SSC Ultimate Aero, an American car was selling at $ 654,000 dollars; a tag price that compensates for its identity as the fastest car in its class. Giant car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz also churned out the SLR McLaren at $ 452,750 and the Maybach 62 at $ 385,250 dollars.

Before the end of year 2006, Rolls-Royce presented an extended version of the Phantom that is outfitted with bullet-proofed features and a roomy passenger cabin to provide lavish comfort and a pleasant driving experience. Such opulence would come at a whooping cost of $ 3.8 million dollars. Toyota on the other hand gave a lift to increasing environmental concerns by giving the industry a hybrid engine train for its Lexus LS 600h L, sold at $ 104,750 dollars.

The premium pricing of luxury cars is compensated by the built-in, power-packed performance features. A distinguishing feature is its power train. The Jaguar car series for example, carries on its hood a throbbing V-8 engine that delivers top-notch speed when moments call for it; an all wheel drive system that comes fully loaded and with superb handling capabilities. Additional features common to most luxury cars, the Mercedes-Benz E500 and BMW 500xi included, are the electronic stability program, digital surround-sound and hands free communication system that allows the driver use of the mobile phone from controls built into the steering wheel. Aesthetically, these luxury coupes are fitted with ergonomically designed leather seats, poplar or maple trims, wireless technology via Bluetooth, park-distance controls, electronic sensors and climate control sensors that can detect and evade pollutants like carbon monoxide and ethanol.

The Daimler Chrysler is popular for its top of the line engineering and car safety features while the Cadillac SRX has perfected the magnetic ride control, the XM satellite radio and back-seat DVD entertainment on top of superb luxury touches.

A new breed of luxury cars with superb aesthetic and aerodynamic features hits the market in 2007. This includes the diamond clad Mercedes-Benz, the all chrome BMW, the gold and diamond inlaid interior of the Maybach 57S and the gold plated Porsche Boxter in 22 karat beaten gold.

More expensive toys for the big boys, huhdefinitely!

Hello From Orlando: A Walk Through Winter Park - A Hint Of New England In Florida

Just a few minutes north of downtown Orlando awaits Winter Park, a charming picturesque suburb steeped in history. After my excursion on the Scenic Boat Tour, my local expert Wanda Salerno took me on a little walk through town past beautiful historic neighbourhoods.

With is origins as a citrus growing region, Winter Park became a major destination for wealthy northerners during the early 1900s, who came into town by train to reach their elegant winter retreats, seeking shelter from the cold winters of the north. Elegant mansions and and stately old oak trees draped with Spanish moss bear witness to this historic era.

Wanda then took me through some of Winter Park's hidden courtyards, which are filled with specialty retail stores and galleries. Winter Park features a large variety of galleries and I had a chance to sample three of them, all of which carried vastly different artwork:

- Scott Laurent Collections
- Native Visions Gallery
- Timothy's

Our walk took us out on to Winter Park's main street, Park Avenue, which houses 10 blocks of specialty retailers, galleries and ecclectic restaurants. Park Avenue is flanked on its west side by Central Park which offers a welcome sanctuary of relaxation with its graceful fountain, walking paths and shaded benches.

We then went on to explore Casa Feliz ("Happy House" in Spanish), the signature residential work of renowned architect James Gamble Rogers II.

In 1932 Robert Bruce Barbour, a chemical engineer from Massachusetts, commissioned Rogers to design a home on Lake Osceola, which turned out to be the Andalusian-style masonry farmhouse that we see today. This home was not only cherished by Barbour, but by the community as well. Throughout its history, it has hosted garden club tours, symphony orchestra concerts, poetry social meetings and a dinner for author Sinclair Lewis.

In 2001, in order to prevent the house from demolition, Casa Feliz was moved across Interlachen Avenue to its present location on Park Avenue. This move was one of the most dramatic events in Winter Park's history. Casa Feliz was transported on 20 pneumatically levelled dollies, and an elaborate pulley system moved the house about 75 feet per hour. After the house was in position at its new location, skilled craftsmen worked on restoring it to its original 1933 condition. A special landscape design was commissioned to reflect the style of the era.

Today, Casa Feliz is available to rent for weddings, parties, business meetings and events. Its unique features provide the perfect backdrop for a truly memorable event.

As a centre of local culture, Winter Park also features three well-known museums:

- the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American art, which holds the world's most comprehensive collection of works by Louis Comfort Tiffany, including Tiffanys 1893 Chapel. The museum also features paintings, furniture and other works primarily from the late 19th and 20th centuries.

- the Albin Polasek Museum and Sculpture Garden: 3 acres of gardens, featuring sculptures and painters by Albin Polasek. The museum is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

- the Cornell Fine Arts Museum, which focuses on western world art of the 20th century and includes paintings, drawings, sculptures and other art from America and Europe. This museum is located at Rollins College, one of the top rated liberal arts colleges in the country.

The Winter Park Historical Museum examines various historic time periods, interchanging exhibits and rotating displays highlight some of the changes that have occurred in central Florida.

While I explored the town my husband actually played a round of golf at the 9-hole Winter Park Country Club, which is nestled beautifully inside Winter Park's historic neighbourhood. The WPCC is the second oldest golf club in the Central Florida area and makes its way through the downtown Winter Park area and provides a challenge to even the most experienced golfer. He enjoyed his outing, and a cost of $12, it was an extremely affordable outing on a well-maintained golf course.

We capped off our excursion with an enjoyable dinner at a restaurant called 310 Park Avenue, right on Winter Park's main strip. While a good portion of the Orlando area is very new, Winter Park is a welcome oasis of history and ambience that is perfect for a day of exploring.

For more information on Winter Park contact the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce, www.winterpark.org.

Before researching there is always a need to plan the purchases as all wasteful expenditure must be removed. The person must see whether he can afford all the repayments of loan or not because if he fails to do so, this will result in the bad credit of a person.

Bad credit always emerges as hurdle while availing private car loan from the financial market and if anyhow he avails the loan, then he is asked to pay very high rate of interest. The Top Seven Insider Tips to Preconstruction Investing

There are many different levels of real estate investors, ranging from experts to those who have already done several projects or to those who are just about to do their very first project and are looking for some guidance. These people, though they have varying experiences in real estate investing, have a common goal in mind: to find properties that will yield large profits in the long run.

Real estate investing is an activity that needs to be mastered to maximize returns. It takes a great deal of knowledge and experience before one can be a pro in this field. This is not saying that your have to be a pro in order to realize returns; you just have to do the things that a Pro does. There are many books that discuss the habits of successful individuals in different fields. Being a strong believer that you can learn a lot from successful people, I have gathered up a list of insider tips that I am sure that you will find useful.

Below are the top seven insider tips that we have found can help anyone to be successful in real estate investing.

#1 - Have a Plan

In everything we do there should always be a game plan to make sure everything works well. As a real estate investor, you should have a plan on your individual investments as well as an overall plan for your entire portfolio. Your plan should answer questions such as: What are the incentives? What are the benefits of going through a wholesale group? What are my options for exit strategy? Note that your criteria for an excellent investment opportunity should also be outlined in your plan. This way, when an opportunity crosses your desk (or computer screen) and meets your criteria, you can act quickly and there will be no time wasted.

Investing in real estate is also a form of business and there should be a good business plan in place before making that investment, whether it is your first one or not. You should include not only the benefits and projection of cash flow but also the possible risks in taking the investment. You should be able to think of appropriate course of action should your investment fail and put those details in your plan. That way, you will not be caught unprepared when such misfortunes happen.

#2 - Timing

As the adage goes, the early bird gets the worm, which I believe is especially true in real estate investing. One common element Ive seen in successful real estate investors (and stock traders as well) is their ability to execute and completely follow through in a very timely fashion. They have broken down their investing into a system and once they know that something meets their criteria they do what it takes to get er done! Once something meets their criteria, they do whatever it takes to get the investment. These people act fast from completing the necessary documents for reservation to following through on the entire process.

Getting in first through preconstruction opportunities also results in more incentives. Usually, if you take advantage of the first day price, you will pay less than the subsequent property buyers down the road. This, in some projects, even happens within the preconstruction phase; there are stepped price increases in the project. So in investments like this the early bird not only gets the worm, but also the extra built inequity as well! Therefore, it will be advantageous to you as an investor to get the right investments at the right time; and doing that is easy once you already have a working plan with all the criteria to look for in a good investment.

#3 - Do Your Homework!

On every investment that you make, you should do your homework, or in other words, know your project. Get all the necessary information about the project which include its location, developer and all the details about the property you are investing on. If possible, make a visit to the site as well. Remember that the price of an airline ticket is cheap compared to the size of your investment and you can pick up so much more information by putting your boots on the ground as well.

Since you are investing in a preconstruction project, you may want to check out other existing projects from the developer to see the kind of quality their properties have. It is also important to know if they are reliable and if your money is safe with them. A couple more things you need to know are: When will the building construction start? And how long should you expect the property to finish?

There may be a lot of things that need to be researched about the project but it is necessary that you have the right information so you will have a great feeling about the project right from the very start.

#4 - Create a Team of Experts

Every successful business person will tell you to surround yourself with experts. The same holds true in Real Estate. As a real estate investor, you should gather up a team of experts who will be able to give you good advice and suggestions on every investment that you make, tell you which is a good investment and which is not (and why), and be able to provide some help in such cases where an investment fails. You can also turn to these people if you have questions or if you need advice in areas where you feel you need a little more help on such as financial or legal aspects of investing.

How do you find your team? Start off with recommendations from fellow investors. Contact them, interview them, etc. It may a bit of time to complete and round out your team, but it is definitely worth the effort!

#5 - Knowledge is Everything

Ask! Ask! Ask! There is no harm in asking questions. If after reviewing all the materials and information that you gathered on a project, you still have some questions in mind, go ahead and ask. Being the investor, you are entitled to have the answers to all your questions. You may start with the source of the information you initially received, whether it is an agent or the developer themselves. They may be able to make everything clear for you, especially on project specific questions. If after consulting them again you feel that there are still some gray areas, feel free to ask your team of experts. They most likely have the answers to the things that you are looking for.

#6 - Know Your Financial Strength

No one else knows your specific financial situation better than you do! An exception to this might be your accountant or a financial advisor, if you have any. It is recommended that you personally assess your current financial situation if it can make you qualified for the project before going too far down the road. Perhaps you already have a bunch of properties and are tapped out? Whatever the reason, check it out. This can save you (and others) a lot of time if properly done up front.

Your buying power will have a huge effect on the decision of lenders, should you apply for financing on the property. But even if you do not seek financing, you still have to do your personal financial assessment. Of course, you wouldnt want to end up being burdened with debt from your investments in the long run.

#7 - Seek Out Education

Your education as an investor is key to your success! Successful investors do not only study when they are planning to purchase something, they broaden their knowledge in investing by seeking out to learn everything about real estate investing all year round. It is not difficult to get more information that will help you in your investing adventure. A quick search from the different search engines will give you many articles about investing in real estate.

You may also benefit from attending web events and tele-seminars where you can hear information and have the opportunity to learn more about a particular preconstruction project or real estate subject. If self-studying is your thing, you may want to get some e-books that discuss how you can make a start in real estate investing and learn how to be a successful real estate investor.

Preconstruction real estate is getting more and more popular to the public these days. However, getting quality preconstruction deals is not as easy as buying items from a high end store. Whether you are a novice or an expert in the field of real estate, following the above insider tips will definitely spell success in your investment. Also, you should not hurry things up. Mastering preconstruction investing is not an overnight thing. Sufficient amount of time is needed to learn the strategies that real experts in the field do.

How To Find Cheap Travel

This article will uncover the market of cheap travel, suggest ways of finding cheap travel and pay attention to the problem issues that may arise in budget travel.

Student travel has come a long way in the past few decades. It is no longer considered a rarity. Gap years, student electives abroad and cheap summer holidays in distant places, have become part of the generally life-enriching experience that is now considered synonymous with the student status. (Frost F et al., 1999)

The current financial climate, with many students having to rely on student loans, parental support, holiday jobs or personal savings for their financial fluidity, largely dictates and limits just what can be achieved in this regard and there are a number of ploys and strategies that are commonly used to make the money go further or, to look at it another way, to allow the same money let the student go further! (Reisinger Y et al., 2004)

We can start by taking an overview of the situation and dividing up the travel costs into those that are necessary to arrive at a destination and those that are necessarily incurred to move around once the student has arrived. Generally speaking, the preferred way to travel is by flying. It is often the quickest way to travel long distances and in these days of competitive pricing strategies, many of the no-frills and budget airlines are offering very cheap flights across mainland Europe. The unwary student should note that the eye-catching prices quoted are invariably exclusive of taxes and fuel surcharges which can add between 30-200 onto the quoted cost (depending on destination and distance).

As a general rule, the cheaper the flight, the greater the sacrifice of both flexibility and conditions. A flight that arrives or leaves in the early hours of the morning, does not supply food, has minimal in-flight entertainment and a strict baggage allowance, is clearly going to cost less than one that has additional amenities. A word of caution also for these flights as there are generally strict terms and conditions, limited changeability and minimal prospect of refund if there's a problem.

Cheap flights are at the other end of the spectrum from cheap holidays. With holidays the greatest savings are made by those who are willing to book at the last minute. With flights, the converse is true. As flights get booked up, the prices tend to rise. (Bernstein J et al., 1999)

Two of the most commonly used mechanisms for obtaining cheap flights are flight-brokers and screen scrapers. The flight brokers make their money by selling you a flight that gives them a commission. There is therefore a balance between the amount of commission that an airline pays them to fill their seats and the requirements of the student. The screen scrapers are web-based tools such as TravelSupermarket, TravelJungle, and SkyScanner. You effectively enter your requirements and these sites send the details to dozens of airlines (and some brokers) and display their findings with the cheapest first. (Sheth A et al., 2002)

There are variations on this process with sites like Expedia and Travelocity specialising in long-haul flights and Expedia and Opodo allowing flights to one airport then leaving from another. Flights Direct will specifically examine the charter market for occasional bargains.

If you intend to fly on certain dates a few months in the future, it is well worth signing up to the e-mail lists of the appropriate airlines. They will send out details of short-term sales so that you can snap them up at the right moment if they come up. British Airways, Opodo, American Airlines and KLM are particularly good for this type of approach.

Once at the destination, the student has to consider the best way of travelling around. Rather like the airlines, one pays for convenience, accessibility and comfort the cheapest forms of travel generally being the slowest and least luxurious. It is clearly impossible to generalise throughout the world, but hitch-hiking, which might have once been considered the cheapest way to travel, has a distinct risk element of personal safety and clearly is inappropriate for the lone female traveller. Many of the commercially available insurance policies specifically forbid such practices. (Cullinane S, 2002)

Public transport is often the most reliable of the cheaper options. Either the local busses, the long-haul coaches or the train services being generally safe and reliable. Many of the more developed countries offer student travel cards (or a variant) to reduce the costs of repeated journeys and some bus companies (Australia travel being a notable example) will sell an open ticket between two specified destinations which can be used with different segments of the journey being undertaken over a period of several weeks.

There are other considerations relating to travel such as how best to deal with money. The time-honoured way of carrying travellers cheques may no longer be popular, with many students electing for the convenience of "plastic" money and credit cards. One should note that Mastercard will generally convert foreign exchange transactions at about the best commercially available rate, but will then add about 2.75%. This does vary between cards and therefore should be individually checked. Overseas cash withdrawals are also usually subject to a 2% additional fee (minimum charge 2) on both credit and debit cards. In addition to all of this, some credit card companies will also add a transaction fee on foreign transactions. (Halifax is currently the worst, levying 1.75 on each transaction.) For the student, the Post Office or Nationwide credit cards appear to be the best option. They have no levy on overseas purchases but they do charge interest on all cash withdrawals.

As with all travel, insurance is not essential, but only the most foolhardy student would travel without it. The annual multi-trip insurance is seldom competitive except for the USA where it may work out cheaper than individual trip cover (mainly because of the medical expense element applicable to the USA). Most will require you to be staying at pre-booked venues which may not be appropriate for the student traveller.

Decide what cover you need, what excess you need (the first part of each claim that you have to pay yourself) and then shop around. The classic insurance selling line is "why not upgrade to our platinum policy, with 30 million worth of medical cover etc." In real terms, the chances of you ever needing more than 2 million of medical cover or repatriation to the UK is virtually negligible and therefore perhaps best avoided. A good plan is to include a personal liability cover of 1 million and also cover for "cancellations and curtailments" together with cover for lost or delayed baggage and cash.

You should note that Europe-only cover is cheaper than further afield and therefore only select wider cover if it is appropriate. Lastly, ensure that the company you are dealing with is covered by FSA regulated underwriters.

Bear in mind also that the new EHIC card (free from www.dh.gov.uk/travellers) will provide free or discounted health care costs in the EU, but does not cover any repatriation costs.

Useful sites for comparisons and costs are Travel-Insurance-Web for Europe-only travel and Insure For for world-wide travel.

Natural Mineral Cosmetics: Simplified Application

Youve seen them, china doll perfect with flawless skin, adorably kissed with dewy fresh makeup applied with the lightest of touch to impart a glow only an airbrush could possibly contrive. And you know they probably spent three hours on the eye shadow on their left eye, alone.

Shhhhhhh I have a secret. She probably didnt spend more than fifteen minutes, but she had the right tools and the right cosmetics. With Natural Cosmetics, mineral make up made with finely micronized titanium dioxide; you too can have that flawless complexion, dewy and fresh as a sun-kissed daisy on a summer morning.

Natural cosmetics are becoming more and more popular as many cosmetic companies are replacing their regular heavy oil packed liquid make-up with mineral make-up. Mineral makeup lasts longer, is readily available, doesnt leak, and offers a much simpler application process than liquid makeup. Natural cosmetics last all day long, without feeling heavy, weighing you down, or streaking, like liquids. And the very best part, it doesnt take a rocket scientist to apply them in the morning.

Its easy to achieve perfection; just follow these simplified directions:

Start with a clean moisturized face. Dampen your face with a few spritzes of mineral water from an atomizer. Blot with a very soft cloth (do not rub completely dry). Sprinkle a small amount of mineral foundation in the lid of your powder container and swish brush lightly, tap, apply in small circular motions all over face. (Use a feather light touch! Youll need to redip your brush five times for complete coverage.) Apply eye shadow with a foam applicator to contour of eyes. Apply blusher in the hollows of your cheeks, lightly; you dont need much! Dip large brush in translucent powder and lightly blend over face. Use fluffing motion to keep application very light and blending. Apply eyeliner just behind lashes, very carefully over top of eye shadow. Apply mascara to lashes and separate. Apply lipstick with a lip brush and gloss lightly.

Youre so gorgeous! Yes, that stunning reflection in the mirror is definitely you delicately touched with color, and china doll perfect.

Mineral makeup is good for your skin. It allows your skin to breath, absorbing necessary oxygen for youth and refreshment. Natural cosmetics fill up the tiny lines in your skin, cover blemishes, and protect you from damaging sunrays with a high SPF and natural coverage to keep UVA and UVB rays from your skin. Mineral makeup offers many benefits, and you dont get brown liquid foundation on your favorite white blouse.

You can leave your makeup case at home; you wont need a touch up all day. A bit of gloss in your purse and youre ready to go.

For an evening out on the town, a bit of mineral makeup glitter sprinkled liberally across your shoulders and just a hint across your cheeks should dress you up appropriately!

Search Engines on the Grapevine

It used to be whenever you needed to find something on the web you just opened IE to Yahoo and just enter in what you were looking for. Then you would scroll through the millions of matches and hope to find exactly what you wanted or needed. There were some smaller engines besides Yahoo but the majority of searches were either done on Yahoo or maybe AOL depending on who your supplier of the internet was.

Along came Google and with all the money that Google spent on marketing they were now the most used search engine. Their index was by far not the largest but they definitely spent the most money on the marketing because everybody knew who Google was. AllTheWeb had an index at least twice as large but they spent virtually no money on marketing and not many people even knew that they were out there.

Now with social networking and social bookmarking plus the technology of Web 2.0 there are a lot of new kids on the block. It used to be that no matter what somebody was looking for they would use just one search engine for all of their searches. Not anymore, there are now search engines for every niche and every genre. If you have something that you need and you can't find a search engine just close your eyes because it will probably be there tomorrow.

If I wanted a pizza delivered to my house I used to just go to Yahoo and in quotes enter "pizza delivery" and then add +31520 as my area code and then on the results page I would see a list of pizza delivery businesses and how far each one was from that zip code. I could even enter in my exact address and get the exact distance from my house plus driving directions. Now, you just go to local.com and you can find businesses, entertainment, and activities =for any city worldwide. This site will be great for anybody that has to do a lot of travel.

For marketing in order for me to analyze the page rank and traffic for a site I would need to have the Google toolbar installed and then go to the site Alexa.com. After Alexa I would then check incoming and outgoing links for the site plus look at who visits the site and where these visitors go before and after this site. I could do a lot of this just with Alexa but this gave me a biased look at the site. Now I have found a great search engine that will return so much detail that I no longer have to have all these toolbars installed and I only have to visit just this one site. Visit Golexa.com and let me know what you think of this great site.

To assist me with this one site I could even look at PRSearch.biz. This site would be a great compliment or even a replacement for Golexa and it beats having to download and install toolbars which are known to be Spyware or Adware. I have grown so tired of having to remove Spyware and Adware from my computer 2 or 3 times a week. If I don't remove these things then I will get a lot of annoying popups plus my system will get severely bogged down and eventually I will have to shut down and restart my system just to free up memory. This can be a pain in the ass if you are like me and have all these different app's open at the same time.

Do you have children? would you like to allow them to perform searches on the web without having to constantly look over their should at what will come up as results? Now you can let them to go to this site and not have to worry http://kids.quintura.com/ . Keep them off of sites like MySpace because of the ads you see on the site lately. I am a big believer in the sites like MySpace but you ought to see some of the ads and comments you can get with a profile on MySpace. I've seen hookers, escorts and strippers placing comments on peoples profiles.

Social networking and social bookmarking are a growing trend these days though. They need to come up with a one word acronym to reference these sites like the grapevine or something like it. There are now search engines that specialize in these social searches. Check out Omgili, Sproose, or Url dot com. After you have visited these sites make sure you look at Diigg, Del.icio.us, Shadows, or even Yahoo's MyWeb .Web 2.0 is definitely making a difference with shared bookmarks, Collaborative directories and Taggregators. Do a search on one of these terms and check them out yourself, I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

If all you want to do is find the best deals and bargains then you need to look at the following engines; gnod.net, like.com, slifter.com, and thefind.com. For music and video go to blabline.com, blinks.com, findsounds.com, and Gruuve.com. There are even engines in other languages like Gennio for Hispanic people. This social Spanish engine will even allow you to search for a business in Madrid and once you find the business you are looking for it will let you call that place for free through the internet. Answerbus.com allows you to ask your question in English, French, Spanish, German or even Italian.

I found one site that even lets you create your own search bot which is called searchbots.net and another one called Mojeek.com. You can search using Web 2.0 with web20searchengine.com and their are sites for science related searches, and pretty much almost anything you can think of. I am a webmaster myself in addition to everything else I do so I will be using Zippy.co.uk. My wife will be using Zabasearch because she does a lot of work for a nonprofit and with this site she can look up people and public information.

If you are like me and want to do research and try to discover the latest trends in search engines then do a search for "search engines",+directory or "social search engine",+directory and you will find some great new sites. My son, Jake, is real big with these web communities so I will be telling him to look at Zenome.com.

Timeshare FAQ: Should You Invest In A Timeshare?

* What are the advantages of owning a timeshare?

There are many advantages of owning a timeshare. Nevertheless, some people are confused about what timeshares are all about.

Timeshare owners in the USA have reached more than 2 million families. Perhaps, in the past you attended a presentation but didnt get all of your questions about timeshares answered. Almost half the people who attend a timeshare presentation want to buy but never actually do due to lack of information.

The advantages and benefits of owning a timeshare include the following:

- You can plan on a yearly vacation.

- Instead of renting a cramped hotel room, you can have a condo-style accommodation.

- Timeshares guarantee a yearly vacation for the rest of your life.

- You can pay for future vacation at todays prices.

- You get the best accommodations in the most desirable locations.

- You have the option to rent out your timeshare or lend it to family and friends.

- You may also have some flexibility for a great vacation with worldwide exchanges.

- You can even will your ownership of the timeshare to your heirs, which means it does not expire when you do.

- Owning a timeshare means more vacations and lasting vacation memories. Some of the vacations you take through your timeshare may even be tax deductible.

* What are some of the major benefits of buying or renting a timeshare rather than staying in a hotel?

Buying or renting a timeshare actually saves you money because it allows you to fix future vacation costs. A timeshare also allows you to have more amenities and more space. It allows you to have a more comfortable vacation. Why? Buying or renting a timeshare guarantees security, fully furnished rooms, a den, a kitchen with eating and cooking utensils, and most even include a hot tub, sauna, playground, fireplace, golf, tennis, marina, even babysitting and much more. By contrast, staying in a hotel often gives you tiny rooms and limited facilities.

Buying a timeshare also gives you resale equity after 10 to 30 years. It even offers resort choices and exchange possibilities, so it offers a broader choice of where you can go on a vacation.

* Is there a difference between timeshares and vacation ownership?

There are no differences between timeshare and vacation ownership. Most operators feel that the term "timeshare" projects an image in consumers minds of slick men in leisure suits with white belts, so they changed the term "timeshare" to a softer term, "vacation ownership," or in short, "a rose by another name."

* What things should you consider before acquiring or purchasing a timeshare?

Before you purchase a timeshare, you should be aware of the costs of buying an interest in timeshare real estate. It is important that you, as a buyer, review all the documents and understand all of your rights. Here are some other factors that you should ask yourself before purchasing a timeshare:

- When is the seasonal demand for this property?

- What are the financial risks and investment potential?

- What will be the total costs including broker commissions, finance charges, and maintenance?

- Are there exchange programs with other locations or resorts?

- What is the true value of giveaways or other sales incentives?

- Also ask about the State protection and reputation.
